Dark green morocco over thick boards, with rubbed crest (Shakespeare) to front board. Spine with five raised bands, rubbed gilt decoration and rubbed gilt titles. Corners rubbed and bumped. Hinges carefully strengthened at some time in ths past. All page edges gilt. Inner gilt dentelles and marbled endpapers. Gilt binder's stamp to base of the verso of the front board: "Bound By Ramage, London". Half title present. Engraved frontis in red & black. Facing a title-page in red & black, together with the crest of the Shakespeare family. Clean text throughout on lightly toned paper. A well preserved little book. VG.
