He married Maria Adams on June 24, 1835, in his hometown. They had nine children in 15 years. He died in September 1853 in Suffolk, England, at the age of 40. In the 1851 census he is listed as a pauper. I therefore assume he was seriously ill. I would be interested in any further information.
