Bookplate to verso of the front board: "David Gurling, Lavenham". Marbled endpapers. Title in red & black and lightly foxed. Light intermittent foxing to the text. Most engravings heavily foxed with light offsetting. Subscribers list inserted after Preface. "Names Of Lords Of Manors." appears after p.367 and before index. Colophon at end of index: "T. D. Dutton, Printer, Bury.".
