Inkstamp of John Appleby to title page, broken line mark down front free endpaper (from clear covering to dustwrapper?). Red cloth, gilt title to spine. Dustwrapper has a fixed protective clear wrapper and there is minor edge wear. Plus associated paperwork belonging to John Appleby including correspondence with Dr Alison Shell of the University of Durham. Scarce. VG/VG.
