Wear on spine ends of all three volumes and heavily bumped corners. Binding is sound but there is slight separation of some gatherings in each volume. Pages, plates and fold out maps/plans are clean. Each volume contains plates for 'The Geographical Association Library' on the inside front cover and front end-paper. End-papers of Volume I are marked and wrinkled. The three volumes form a set but were published separately; Volumes One and Two were published by Archibald Constable in 1905 and 1907 and Volume Three was published by St. Catherine Press in 1928. Volume III contains a clean intact colour fold out plan of Durham Cathedral and Monastery and a clean black and white fold out plan of Durham Castle with a split on part of one fold and a black and white intact plan of Finchale Priory. Volume I contains a colour frontis, all volumes contain many plates. Also a colour map of Prehistoric Remains. Packed weight approx. 8kg. 3-volume set (complete). No dust-jacket.
