"Frederick Gregory in memory of my father Henry Bennett obiit 1895" written in ink on reverse of front free end-paper. Red slightly darkened covers with gilt lettering on the spine and gilt motif on the front cover, gilt block edges, black end-papers. Sound binding although paper over front inner hinge is partially split. Pages are age-darkened but are otherwise clean. Contains colour illustrations. No dust-jacket.
