Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. 2 leather bound volumes with gilt decoration around edges and black spine labels, frontis portrait of John Braham, the Jewish tenor opera singer and minor composer in Volume I and title-vignettes in both volumes, both volumes have 308 pages, there are two distinct music print face which is found on different gathers, one with larger treble clefs and "modern" sharp notation and the other with smaller treble clefs and the earlier sharp notation. Alphabetical contents sheets at the front of each volume. Front cover of volume 1 is detached along with attached front end-paper and rear end-papers in volume I are missing, otherwise the binding is sound, there are crossed out previous owner's names 2-volume set (complete).
