CONDITION Blue cloth with gilt spine title and gilt illus of Miners to front, gilt top edge, frontis illus in colour of the Kailouras rising from the sea, pp xiii (1) 253, 8 colour plates, 74 half tone photo plates, 6 maps internally and 2 coloured fold out maps at rear. Bds have odd, mark, minor wear to cloth and slightly curved cnrs, front gutter joint has been tape strengthened, water stair at top of front pastedown, gift inscription to front free end page, internally very bright and clean, short tear at connection of rear map of the Southern Alps not effecting map contents. OVERWEIGHT. Good.
