Twain recorded his observations and critiques of various aspects of culture and society he met on the journey many humorous. CONDITION Decorative cloth with bright Gilt titles, pp 383. Copy has spine that is split with some loss to spine heel though not flapping, ffep is pasted to front paste down and slim strip cut away at top of title page (assume both are to remove previous ownership details) name inside front, mostly clean internally with mild toning spots and odd finger mark. Fair/No Jacket.
