Destinquished Pediatrician in Auckland and London who was notable for his forward thinking in rehabilitation of Polio patients doing a lot of work with the , part of the Myers and Ehrenfried familyies so influential in the development of early Auckland. He was a Lt Col in WW and NZ Commissioner for St Johns and the Red Cross in London during WW2. Includes some history of early Auckland. CONDITION Brown cloth (clean with light wear and faded patches to spine ends and tips) 159 pages with photo plates. Internally very bright and crisp with a strip torn away at top of first blank to remove ownership details. DJ has chips to edges which line up with faded areas to cloth and front flap has separated though present. Over all a very nice copy. #New Zealand Biography#. Very Good/Good.
