Verso of this page is blank but facing this are 6 leaves without numbers. Leaves 1 to 176 are followed by 8 index leaves. Many of the foreegoing illustrations take up almost half of each page and Facing page 173 is a full-page illustration showing Sacrificial and other antiquities in 12 compartments. There is some browning of the titlepage, the following leaf has a purple catalogue number, an inked date [1588] and a three-word faded name all within the margins. There are printed side-notes throughout as well as 12 pages with extra ink marginal notes as well as a few small underlinings. There are 5 partially coloured illustrations and 3 ink spattered pages. The verso of the last index page has many inscriptions, names and crossings-out with a greyish background.
