The spine holding the two wooden covers with the fern silhouetes and gilt reverses to inner edges. [One small tip broken] All edges gilt and all pages printed throughout in sparkling gold within gold double ruled frame. Half title + coloured title with vignettes + decorated gold titlepage + [v]-viii + [9]-128pp. Front endpaper with embossed booksellers stamp & somewhat soiled & fingered with some foxing and soiling to first few pages & last 3 leaves as well as a few pages passim.
