There are printed side notes throughout This book was challenged by [Sir William Sanderson's] "AULICUS COQUINARIAE or a vindication in Answer to a pamphlet entituled [sic] The Court and Character of King James" which we can also offer in our cataloque. Both were published in 1650 although the Weldon was published after the author's death and the two books have conflicting views, both claiming to be from personal knowledge.This volume is anti the Stuart king.
