The frontis has been mounted with some loss at the gutter edge, the titlepage and the following two leaves are remargined which however does not affect any print. There is a tidemark up to page 6 and also to certain later sections of the book. There are also areas of foxing and others with browning and a few small holes affecting one or two letters of the text and one leaf [p331/2] with a paper fault across 5 lines each missing no more than a few letters.Endpapers have a small ownership stamp "Pro Christo et Patria Dulce Pertculum" surrounding a Unicorn's head and initials RHK below the unicorn. All pages are well attached and supple, quite readable. A fascinating early abridgement of important books for students.
