[top compartment repaired/bottom compartment split to one hinge/tips worn but covers well attached] All edges sprinkled red titlepage +[8p=dedication/Epistole] +[4p=to reader] +[2p=2oe conomia"] +96pp Nice ownership dated 1775 to free endpaper, and slight top edge dusting to a few pages with the endpapers a bit browned and marked. There are a few pages with very feint marginal foxing but pages are almost entirely bright and crisp throughout. This is a famous poem on how to get beautiful childen with the influences of the stars and practical advice on child welfare being part of the art of achieving this aim. There are also two shorter poems at the end.
