Fairholt . 8vo gilt tree calf on five raised bands red spine title-label spine extra gilt (corners worn/head of spine worn/ all edges rubbed/hinges cracked but still just holding/sl.scratched) all edges marbled xiv + 639pp +[1p=printers imprint. Frontis & titlepage are a bit foxed being on different paper from the text. A few marginal foxings to five of the full page engravings but all other pages are clean and white.
