PRESENTATION INSCRIPTION by author to free endpaper but only signed with a triangle (ie delta) & dated May 1841 + a further paragraph to end of preface explaining how he came to publish this. 180x120mm rebound into navy sheepskin with original stab holes of the wrapper-covers visible (tips rubbed) All Edges Gilt 31pp *A parody of Coleridge's Rime of the ancient mariner this is a satire on student life at Oxford. Quite scarce and a very nice copy with a long presentation inscription. *Went to a second printing in 1867 probably due to the small print run of the 1841 printing.
