'Every Man's Book' is a useful reference work which lays out important and essential information in an easily accessible manner.Including information on: value of foreign coin in English currency, holidays for each year, historical sketches of remarkable days of the previous year, lists of bankers in London, lists of the ministers of the King, and more.1827 is the third edition. In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart, with rubbing to the boards, resulting in a little loss of paper and leather. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Tail of the spine is lifting a little. Front joint is cracked. Front hinge is strained but firm, rear hinge is starting but firm. Front endpapers are detaching. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are a little age-toned and generally clean with some spots. Prior owner's ink inscription to the head of the title pages. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
