An incomplete run but volumes appear complete within themselves aside from Volume 41 which has been bound without title page and contents. With over 300 full page plates in black and white as well as illustrations and figures in the text. The Royal Institution of Great Britain is an organisation devoted to scientific education and research, based in London and founded in 1799. The proceedings were published irregularly between 1898 and 2001 with 71 volumes in total. This collection includes articles on the Dead Sea Scrolls. In cloth bindings. Externally, very smart with some shelfwear. Spines faded to volumes 35 and 37. Institutional stamp to front pastedown of volume 38 and endpaper of 31. Some marks to boards of volume 35. Hinges strained to volume 31. Volume 31 cocked. Internally, generally firmly bound although volume 31 is strained. Pages bright and clean. Very Good Indeed . Ill.: None. Very Good Indeed .
