 Brian Little, Banbury a History
Brian Little
Banbury a History
Sussex, Phillimore , 2003. First edition. Cloth. A first edition of Brian Little's study of Banbury, a historic market town in Oxfordshire. This association copy belonged to the author's aunt, and has a letter stapled in, as well as an inscription by the author to the title page. This interesting history of Banbury, Oxfordshire is signed by the author, and has a letter he wrote to his aunt stapled in. Alongside the letter addressed to his Aunt Key stapled to the front endpaper, the author's ink inscription can also be found to the title page. The inscription reads, 'To Aunt Key, With my love and best Wishes. Brian. January 2004&apos. In this illustrated volume, Little offers a chronicle of the historic market town from its emergence until the early twenty first century. The volume was published by Phillimore, who specialise in local and family history. Found the unclipped dust wrapper. In the publisher's original red cloth binding, found in the unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart, with just some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. A little edge wear to the top edge of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Aside from some pen smudges to the title page, and a small paint stain to page xi, pages are bright and clean throughout. Very Good Indeed . Ill.: Not stated. Very Good Indeed/Very Good Indeed.
