Leisenring, Preston Jennings, Herman Christian, Roy Steenrod, George Parker Holden, Vern Hidy, Dick Clark, Dana Lamb, Ed Hewitt, John Atherton, Sparse Grey Hackle, Art Flick, Keith Fulsher, Charles De Feo, Wes Drain, and others. Mr. Stauffer was a friend of these men and fished regularly with them. Reproduced in its entirety is the 1930-1935 hand written Fishing Album compiled by Chip and it includes photos of him and his wife, Marjorie, and their companions. The book is a splendid account of fly fishing in the sport’s halcyon days, beginning in the 1920s through the 1970s. The author, David Atwood, is a gifted writer; he was a friend of Chip’s and knew him for many years; the book is a homage to a talented, thoughtful, kind, skilled fly fisherman.
