As it was scheduled as their December issue, it had been planned as a Christmas issue. The assassination changed those plans. An editorial was written about the Kennedy presidency, and the new President Lyndon Johnson, and almost as an afterthought, the magazine added a glued-on sticker reading "In Memory of John F. Kennedy" (sticker is present on this copy). Ironically, the original issue layout included an introduction, written by Jacqueline Kennedy, to a feature on Christmas at the White House, which was left in the issue.. Very Good .
