ILLUSTRATED WITH HAND-COLORED WOOD ENGRAVINGS - Octavo, 10-1/2 inches high by 7-1/8 inches wide. Softcover, bound in sewn cream paper self-wraps, with the title highlighted in color above a hand-colored engraving of David standing over Goliath. 10 pages, including the covers and with the inner pages printed on one side only. Each page, except for the rear cover, is illustrated with a half-page hand-colored wood engraving of a Biblical event. The covers and pages are darkened and stained. The edges of the pages are creased and chipped with several short tears and a few longer horizontal tears along the front edges of the pages. Fair.
