In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the edges. Fading to the spine and upper boards. Very light offsetting to the paste-downs and free endpapers. The original, clipped dust wrapper is in very smart condition. Some shelf wear and chipping to the edges. Sunning to the spine. Light marks to the panels. Closed tear to the spine has been repaired with tape. Internally, binding slightly strained to the title page, but otherwise firmly bound. Pages lightly age-toned but very bright and clean.
