Douglas Jerrold was a 19th century British journalist and playwright, perhaps best known for his contributions to Punch magazine. Kenney Meadows was a British caricaturist, known especially for his work in Punch. FAIR condition, lacking frontispiece illustration. Heavy fading to the covers, with the gilt illustration almost entirely gone. Moderate to heavy scuffing, with some soiling and staining. Extremities bumped, scuffed and worn, with some fraying to the cloth. Interior solid, with new endpapers. Scattered moderate soiling and staining throughout, with general browning. Fair/No Jacket.
