The only other reference to this rare song is a copy [possibly this very one], included in an album of Sadler's Wells ephemera sold by Christies on 28th November, 2011 lot 51.

A later edition was published by Broderip & Wilkinson, c. 1807 [British Library and the Bodleian]. The copy at Cambridge University dated 1778 - 1787 is likely to be later. Two of the only three copies to appear at auction [£350 in 1977] were dated [1790] but likely later.

Copac lists only 5 locations in the U.K. A rare collection of songs> the portraits include those of a number of women: Mrs Jordan, Miss de Campe, Mrs Mountain, Mrs Martyr and Mrs Atkins.
