Bührmann in een oplage van 125 genummerde exemplaren. Rug verbleekt. Boekband aan de voorkant met vage vlekken, verder mooi. Deze clandestiene uitgave werd gezet uit de Romanée, handwerk dat grotendeels door de in 1943 gefusilleerde dichter Emile van der Borch van Verwolde werd verricht voor de pers van A.A.M. [Maastricht, A.A.M. Stols], 1932. Vellum-backed boards with the original title ticket pasted on the upper cover. (32) p. Printed in 30 copies, this on handmade Barcham Green paper. Published at the instigation and expense of the avid book collector, Emile van der Borch van Verwolde (1910-1943), a scion of an ancient and wealthy Dutch noble family. It contains the poems ‘Orgie Parisienne’ and ‘Le bateau ivre’, printed 'En trente exemplaires/ aux frais d’un amateur'. This probably is a proof copy: the five original wood engravings were not bound in. 'Deux Poèmes' has never been published bound. This book has no spine title - the binding appears to have been made especially for this copy and is slightly less professional than one would expect. Van Dijk 290.
