The design represents the forms in which the artist has, for a number of years, carved the inscriptions which are, by common consent, the finest examples of inscription lettering in our time... it is only now, after the lapse of seven years, that the fount is presented in a series form." The rare prospectus for the first commercial use of the Eric Gill's Perpetua type.
