Accounts from various contributors of the aviation industry in Amherst, N.S. during WWII. In Amherst, provision was made for assembly of aircraft shipped in dismantled from Britain at the plant pf the Canadian Car and Foundry. The first planes for assembly were English Avro Ansons, Mark 1. All output from Amherst, whether manufactured or repaired, was flown and flight-tested from the airport built in Amherst for this purpose. Very Good.
