[Den Haag], 1828, 48pp text and 24 [126pp] appendices inluding lithograph plates with the autographs of the former students of Leiden University present at the festivities held in The Hague on the mentioned dates and a fcsimile letter by Van Wyn, the oldest living former student. The festivities were rganised by Fannius Scholten, Bernard, Certon, Van Halteren, Heeneman, Kluit, Van Maanen, Van der Palm and Philipse. The oldest participant started his studies in Leiden in 1759 (Hendrik van Wyn). 227 participants gathered in Den Haag to celebrate. The king and several ministers attended the festivities. A total of 1600 people attended the church service. More than 200 attended the dinner. In the text part the preparations and the festivities are described in detail. The appendices are very interesting. They include among others: the autographs of all the former students at Leiden University that attended the festivities, the parayers and poems recited by Speyert van der Eyk, Van der Palm, Marron, Kluit, Van Hall (M.C.), Simons, Vaillant, Van Leeuwen van Duivenbode, Van den Ende and others.
