Original crimson cloth, a bit rubbed and the spine dull, light circular stain to the front board, else quite a good fresh copy. ¶ Oliver's influential biography of Hamilton, a substantial quotation from which Brandeis provides in his address "The Living Law" in early 1916, immediately following which he then unreservedly characterizes Hamilton as "an apostle of the living law"
