(binding a bit chafed; spine a bit worm-holed and a bit damaged; upper margin title-page cut off (no text loss); stamp & names on titlepage and flyleaf; some pages a bit spotted/foxed) ¶ De summo bono incorporates (with separate title-pages): Quae fides et religio sit capessenda; Disputatio de statu vitae deligendo; De antichristo (Bologna, Bonhom, 1617= Venice, Baba); Hygiasticon; and Tractatus de vitae sobria. ¶ Collected works by the jesuit Lessius on economics and morality. The spiritual treatises De summo bono et aeterna beatitudine hominis and De perfectionibus moribusque divinis are incorporated in this Venetian edition. ¶ For De summo bono: Sommervogel IV.1743.19 (minus the Plantin edition of the Opuscula). This edition of De iustitia et iure ceterisque virtutibus not in Sommervogel. It is a word-for-word reprint of the 1613 Milan edition (Sommervogel IV.1730).
