Extensive note on flyleaf, signed Charles Coquerel, 1820. "Cet Horace du fils d'Aldus contient la celebre preface de Lambinus a Charles IX." The annotator reminds of the role Charles IX played in St Bartholomew's Night, and the murder of Petrus Ramus, friend of Lambin.
