Neat number in pen above Scribners seal on copyright page and archival repair to small blemish on page 114, and abrasion on rear paste doen end paper, otherwise intrnally fine. Front and back cover of the book clean and bright; gold labels bright and clear; corners lightly bumped, slight abrasion near bottom corners and spine, top slightly crimped. Light top stain to tex block. VG+ in VG first state dust jacket with $2.00 price and Stallings review on rear dj panel. Bright unfaded dj with light toning on spine to only the title and author. No marking of any type on dj. Scattered chipping along top and bottom edges; no loss of text. Hemmingway published this collection of short stories 4 four years after he published Farewell to Arms.
