The study pays particular attention ancient Irish law - "Brehon Law", its technicalities and importance, with chapters on "Kinship as the basis of Society", "The Tribe and the Land", "The Chief and his Order" "the Chief and the Land" etc. iA very good copy, presented by the Law Society as an honorary distinction to William Frederick Taylor Morgan for achieving third place in the First Class of the Honours Examination. It records that his clerkship had been at the London firm of Ellis, Munday and Clarke. The rear paste-down bears the minute ticket of the Society's usual choice of binder, J.Low of Chancery Lane.
