The Murder of Delicia
London, Skeffington, 1896. Hardcover . Early printing ("thirty-ninth to forty-third thousand"), published the same year as the first. Maroon cloth gilt. Rubbing to joints, spine ends, edges of covers; slight wear to outer corners and foot of spine; endpapes, first and last leaves, and page edges tanned; occasional light foxing and soiling; a good, sound copy, no owner names. One of four books she wrote in 1896, a tale of a successful woman writer abused and oppressed by her aristocratic parasitic husband, based on Corelli's relationship with her step-brother Eric. Corelli herself was probably as lesbian, but Eric was still a cad in actuality.

New York, New American Library, Simon & Schuster, Bantam, 1968-1977. Mass Market Paperback . A run of 21 of the 26 published volumes. Lacking are nos. 1, 14, 15, 17, and 25. Founded in 1967, the series up to #10 was published by The New American Library. Numbers 11-15 were published by Simon & Schuster in a slightly taller format. The rest were published by Bantam and the title was changed to American Review. #2, has a small corner crease to front cover; #20 has a small sticker scar to rear cover; #22 has a large sticker scar to lower inner front cover and some rippling from damp to the first quarter of the text; otherwise VG or a bit better condition. All are first Canadian or first US printings but for #12, which is a second printing. 4 kg parcel, extra postage will be required.
