Boards and outside layer of spine are showing edgewear and discolouration. Front board beginning to detach from spine with one and half inch long tear at spine head. Boards have numerous scorings and abrasions. Waterstains on upper and inside parts of boards. Minor spotting to front board. Upper and inner edges of boards and spine are darkened, probably as a result of sunning. Lacks small pieces of calf at spine ends. Spine body has several light scratches. Spine foot has one or two small nicks. Leading corners are quite worn. Age tanning to head of page block. Front inner paper hinge is torn, but all pages is tight. Nameplate on front pastedown. Pastedowns and endpapers are quite foxed, and there is light occasional foxing throughout book. Pages are very slightly tanned. Minor creasing to upper leading corners of some pages. No dust jacket.
