With inserted advertising folder for 'Das Leben des Menschen' by Fritz Kahn, with a blurb by Surén and two curious illustrations. "Self massage, care of the skin". About auto-massage, illustrated with some 60 pictures of the author, fully naked, massaging himself. Some of his photographed massage actions seem not far from masturbation. Surén suffered from narcissism and a grossly inflated ego. He later was an active nazi. After a period of huge popularity in the 20's and 30's, his books were discarded during the Second World War, and he himself accused of obscenities.

Zeer schaarse erotische uitgave. Het betreft hier de Nederlandse vertaling van Meine Memoiren (1908) door Wilhelmine Wo¨lfling-Adamovic´, de eerste vrouw van de losgeslagen Oostenrijkse prins Leopold van Toscane (1868-1935), die samen zorgden voor hét likkebaardende koninklijk schandaal van de vroege twintigste eeuw. Om haar te huwen liet hij zijn titels vallen en nam de achternaam Wölfling aan. Het paar scheidde al na een jaar. Volgens Delpher verscheen de vertaling voor het eerst in 1910 ('Een Nieuwe Realist. Zedenroman'), en werd deze latere editie gebruikt als premie bij boekenpakketten in de jaren dertig.
