Three titles: Come Rack! Come Rope! - Loneliness? - Oddsfish. Matching volumes, each with dust jacket.
New York, P.J. Kenedy & Sons, (about 1924). Cloth with dust jacket. vi, 474 - (4), 372 - (6), 476 p. Later printings. The second volume's dj is vaguely waterstained, otherwise excellent and unread copies. Conserved with Melinex. Very unusual to see such early dustjackets, three matching at a time. Of the three novels by Benson (1871-1914), certainly an oddsfish himself, Come Rack! is set during the reign of Elizabeth I, Loneliness? in Edwardian times and Oddsfish! during the struggle between the Catholics and Protestants under Charles II and William of Orange, the time of the Popish Plot.
