A play in three acts, Freedom was writted by a group of Africans from all parts of the continent of Africa, who were in the forefront of the struggle for freedom of their countries. The Idea of writing the play was launched by Dr. Frank N.D. Buchman of the World Assembly for Moral Re-Armament at Caux, Switzerland in 1955. He said that just as Uncle Tom's Cabin had roused the conscience of a nation and helped abolish slavery, so a play written by Africans could rouse the conscience of the world and help fring freedom to all men. Slightly soiled, some edge wear, pencil mark on front cover. In very good condition. .
