Two issues of Astounding Science Fiction, the November and December issues from 1941, featuring the first two installments (of four) of 'Second Stage Lensmen,' by E.E. Smith, being the sequel to his 'Gray Lensman.' With work by Nat Schachner and others. Both in GOOD condition with general uneven browning, fading and soiling to the covers. Some creasing to the covers, with scuffing and curling along the extremities. Both text blocks browned. The November issue has its front cover letters traced in faint pencil. ¾ inch sized blue ink spot/stain to the lower front cover. Faint pencil notation to the rear cover. Rear cover with some dark scuffs. Small yellowed tape repair to the head of the spine. Several numbers in dark pencil to the front cover of the December issue, with a faint pencil notation to the rear cover. Upper rear corner of the cover and last four pages TORN away and missing, affecting about a 1 and a half in area. Not affecting text. Good .
