The text refers to Mascart and an electrometer, perhaps suggesting the device pictured was a modification of his device. A brief work apparently presenting data and findings from measurements of electricity in the atmosphere. In POOR/FAIR condition. Ex-library with call numbers in pencil on the top of the first page of text and front cover, with a library ownership stamp on the inside front cover. Front cover and title page DETACHED. The rest of the work is intact but weak. The whole piece is rather fragile, with covers and pages chipping and flaking along the extremities. Moderate to heavy uneven fading to the covers, with some darkening. General moderate darkening to the interior. Minor pencil notations to the title page. Poor .

Two vertical creases present that run the length of the pamphlet and affect the text within. Moderate uneven fading and darkening present to the covers. Lower corner of the pages creased and bent. A jagged 2 inch half moon shaped piece missing from the lower edge of the pamphlet. Moderate foxing and minor scattered soiling throughout, with general fading to the pages. Several pages unopened.
