A two sided color map, disbound from a larger work, with one side depicting Japan and the other the island of Java. With a little extra piece jutting out from the lower left portion of Japan to include all of the southern Japanese Islands. VERY GOOD condition. Light toning, wrinkling and a hint of soiling. Very Good .

Heavy chipping, tearing and curling/creasing along the lower edge, with very minor chipping and tearing along the top. Some curling and creasing to the corners. Faint dampstain to the right center of the map. General minor toning, with very light scattered foxing. Fair .

A map of Canada and the United States, depicting the various railroads operated by the Canadian Pacific Railway, with those printed in red, and other rail lines in black. Includes ticketing routes from St. Paul and from Montreal and Toronto. GOOD condition. Horizontal and vertical fold creases present. Minor soiling and wrinkling. Reverse foxed, with some staining and three spots of glue residue present. Handwritten note titling the map in ink on the reverse. Good .

Based on print quality, this is perhaps a photomechanical reproduction of some sort, with all printing very light. A map of French Guiana and the territory of Inini, which was an inland area to have been developed using prison labor. It was treated as a separate region from 1930 to 1946. Map includes names of settlements, rivers and other features/locations. GOOD condition. Horizontal and vertical fold creases present. Some wrinkling. Printing very light. A few cartographic notations in pencil along the margins. Good .

London, No Publisher, 1701. Unbound. Believed to be from the 1701 edition of 'A system of Geography' that was issued in London in 1701. A single leaf, pages 331/332. Measures approximately 12 1/4 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches wide. With a 6 3/4 by 7 1/4 inch map of Denmark on page 331. Engraved by Herman Moll. With the beginning descriptive text on the history of Denmark, although not complete. Herman Moll was a noted cartographer and engraver, located in England, although perhaps originally from the Netherlands or Germany. Initially working for others, he started to work on his own in the late 1690's, with his exacting style serving to influence other cartographers (Wikipedia). GOOD condition. Minor browning to the paper, a bit heavier along the extremities. Small tear and crease near the lower right corner, with a shallow half moon 1 inch piece missing from the upper left extremity. Small faint dampstain along the upper edge. A few minor creases at the corner. Map a bit offcenter. Good .
