A history of the Boston Red Sox, focusing on the 1920s to 1940s and its star players. With a foreword by Ted Williams in which he addresses his slump in the 1946 World Series. GOOD condition. Uneven fading and darkening to the covers, with minor scuffing, soiling and a few small stains. Spine very faded. Minor rippling to the cloth on the rear cover. Extremities bumped and scuffed. Paper toned, with minor scattered soiling, in the interior. Child's heavy pencil scribble on pages 56-57. Ownership signature present. Good .
