Amsterdam, Trouw, Foto, Jos Neve, Stedelijk Museum, 1989. Oblong colour poster 42x57 cm. The recto displays a spread Aarsman's well-known photo of 3 horses, with the text announcing the exhibition. The verso is fully printed magazine style. There are 3 photographs from the book accompanied by a chapter of text from the book, titled 'Achter de kade van den oever'. There is an essay by Els Barents. Folded down to A4 size as issued, one panel becomes a title-page in itself with the photo of Aarsman at work by Theo Audenaerd. Above the photo is the Dutch flag flanked by the repeated text 'Hans Aarsman: Hollandse taferelen'. In fine condition.
¶ ~ Very rare original poster announcing this Dutch photography milestone exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. Beautifully designed and produced.
