A, under the leadership of the pastor, Francis E. Clark, and his wife Harriet. It was born out of a week of evangelistic services which had resulted in about thirty young people accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior. Before the first meeting was over, 57 people signed the constitution and covenant, the essence of which is expressed in the opening words of the Christian Endeavor Pledge. That first Christian Endeavor group revitalized the youth in the Williston Church beyond expectations. Born to meet the needs of a single church, it did it so well that other churches began copying it with equally exciting results. Christian Endeavor helped in numerous churches to ground their young people in their Christian faith and devotion to Christ." (World Christian Endeavor Union). Very Good- .

"After the births of their first two sons, Lowell Page Fillmore and Waldo Rickert Fillmore, the family moved to Kansas City, Missouri. Myrtle subsequently recovered from chronic tuberculosis and attributed her recovery to her use of prayer and other methods learned in Weeks' classes. Subsequently, Charles began to heal from his childhood accident, a development which he too attributed to following this philosophy. Charles Fillmore became a devoted student of philosophy and religion. In 1889, Charles and Myrtle began publication of a new periodical, 'Modern Thought', notable among other things as the first publication to accept for publication the writings of the then 27-year-old New Thought pioneer William Walker Atkinson. In 1890, they announced a prayer group that would later be called 'Silent Unity'. In 1891, Fillmore's 'Unity' magazine was first published. Dr. H. Emilie Cady published 'Lessons in Truth' in the new magazine. " (from Wikipedia). Very Good+ .

A True Mystic is a person who accepts, yet does not seek, the responsibility of total submission to God’s Will above all else. Some well-known True Mystics include Moses, Saint Francis of Assisi, Saint Joan of Arc, Saint Teresa of Avila and Saint Padre Pio — all of whom dedicated their lives to accomplishing any task requested by God, regardless of the opposition and adversities they faced in the world. Mother Frances lived in total submission to God’s Will. As a Spiritual Mother, her first concern for everyone was always the well-being of their Souls. She was firm yet loving, genteel and seemingly natural, while quietly enduring great suffering and intense loneliness unknown to most others. The path that Mother Frances walked as God’s True Mystic was possible only because of her total, unconditional love for Him." (from The Miracle of Saint Joseph website). Very Good- .
