The book and its contents are in generally clean condition. The spine of the book is slightly loose and the cardstock covers have edge wear, rubbing, nicking and several small edge tears. The covers have spots of ground-in dirt and discoloratoin. The text pages are clean and bright. "Edvard Munch (12 December 1863 – 23 January 1944) was a Norwegian painter and printmaker whose intensely evocative treatment of psychological themes built upon some of the main tenets of late 19th-century Symbolism and greatly influenced German Expressionism in the early 20th century. The text pages are clean and bright. David Hollander was "a native of the Bronx, NY, was born on February 13, 1916....Inducted into the Army in May 1942. Served as an enlisted man from May 28, 1942 until January 14, 1944 and so an officer from January 15, 1944 to June 30, 1945....Before and after the war, he was a highly respected antique dealer, specializing in fine English and American antiques. His antique shop was located in Riverdale, NYC. He also managed antique shows, including the New York City Coliseum and summer-long shows on Cape Cod, MA. At the age of 45 he passed away on March 20, 1961.". Very Good .
