Part VIII Published in the London Gazette July 1917 to July 1918, Part IX July 1918 to December 1918 and Part X January 1919 to January 1920 with Names of Officers and Men Award the Victoria Cross. Depatches refer to operations in: Western Front, Egypt, Mesopotamia, The Indian Empire, East Sfrica, Italy, France & Belgium, Palestine, Zeebrugge, Dardanelles, Aden, Sudan, Syria and Macedonia. The final Despatch is by Sir Hugh Trenchard regarding operations of The Royal Air Force from June 5th 1918 to November 11th 1918. There are 5 large foldout linen backed maps bound in to this volume.
