Tokyo, Japan, Japan Postage Stamp Assoc. 1939. 1st printings. 8vo. Bound in green buckram with faded Japanese lettering to spine. No copies currently listed for sale, and WorldCat does not show any institutional holdings. The International Society for Japanese Philately reports four volumes for 1940 to 1943 in its holdings, but only one issue (No. 3, May, 1939) from the first volume. The publisher of this journal, The Japanese Postage Stamp Association, was founded in January, 1939, with the support of the Japanese Government Postal Administration and Baron Takaharu Mitsui (known as the 'Father of Japanese stamp collecting' and who was the first President of the JPSA). Note: there are no records of this important philatelic journal ever having come to auction.
