Die KirchweijFreud / Der Frühling
German engraving from the 18th century representing a village celebrating spring with dances and a 'kunst' market. The personnages represented are quite charicaturized (dwarf?). On the bottom of the print a poem in German reads:"Seht wie die freundlich Gred, / Mit ihrem Aufbutz schwantzet. / Her Hannss die Füsse dreht / biss er das Lam[m] ertantzet." Above also another poem on a cartouche: "Auf dieser Früh-/lings Kirchweijh/seund in meinem / Kram vor das schöne / Frauen Zimer aller / hand vortreffliche / Gallanterijen und / rarre Kunst / Stuck."
